Jonny joined Green Atlantic Partners in March 2008 as Project Manager, immediately joining the team in Zhangjiajie, China. He will oversee the development of the China Horizon Resources processing plant as it begins commercial operation. Jonny will be responsible for Health and Safety at both the plant and surrounding mining developments, ensuring they are in compliance with Western standards.

Before joining GAP Jonny worked offshore in the oil and gas industry in the UK and Norwegian sectors, as well as the West coast of Africa. His role encompassed the provision of specialist positioning for a wide range of large subsea construction and maintenance projects, as well as down hole drilling applications. His experience in sizeable projects and the Health and Safety culture of the offshore industry will add valuable skills to Green Atlantic ventures in China. Other positions include projects with Rolls Royce Power Ventures in Nigeria, and Domnick Hunter industrial filters in China.

Graduating from Newcastle University in 2006 with a BSc (Hons) in Surveying and Mapping Science, Jonny will focus on technical operations for GAP projects.
